Fine Sevres Porcelain and Ormolu Clock

A fine, early antique French clock by Hatton of Paris. It is beautifully made in ormolu (fire gilded bronze doré) mounted with exquisite Sèvres style porcelain. The porcelain has a Bleu Celeste ground with delicately painted flowers and an exotic bird. To the top is a motif of cupid, a flaming torché and a quiver of arrows.

Large Gilt Bronze Baroque Table Clock ~ The Sea

A large and stunning antique French Baroque table clock by Samuel Marti. The clock is elaborately decorated in a nautical theme. The base is pieced with wave forms with stylised dolphins as feet to each corner. The bell shaped top pierced as a swirling sea with mythical creatures riding above.

Large Antique French Gilt Bronze Rococo Clock by Japy Frères

A large, superb and very decorative original antique French clock by the famous maker Japy Frères. It is boldly modelled in the Rococo style in finely gilded bronze. Asymmetric waisted case, decorated profusely with acanthus leaves and 'C' scrolls. To the top is a large elaborate final of stylised foliage with a 'C' scroll. It is of lovely quality, heavily made but with a crisp, light design.

Huge Antique French Gilt Bronze Clock Set ~ Minerva

A very large and superb antique French Baroque clock set, beautifully made in gilt bronze. It is of architectural form with bold scrolls and pillars incorporating mythical creatures. To the front is Minerva with spear. The clock stands on an integral base with stylised shields forming the feet. Candelabra are conforming in style with four branches.

Art Deco French Clock by Menneville (Ugo Cipriani, 1897 – 1960)

A very chic and beautiful Art Deco, unsigned but certainly by the well known sculptor Menneville. It features a chic woman in a long flowing gown of black accented in gold, seated next to the clock. She is modelled in patinated metal and her hands and head are delicately modelled in cream ivorine (early plastic). The base is of black Belgium marble highlighted in a specimen cream onyx.

Antique French Gilt Bronze Cartel Wall Clock

A stunning Baroque style antique French cartel wall clock. It is beautifully modelled in gilded bronze in the shape of a shield. To the sides are bold acanthus scrolls with finely fretted panels and to the top is a shield and a pair of urns. The dial is very large and features 12 individual enamel cartouche letters and delicately fretted, blued steel hands. To the bottom is a niches with a shell motif.

A stunning original antique French Rococo clock. It is beautifully sculptured with finely finished scrolls, curves and acanthus leaves in finely gilded bronze. Panels backed with red fabric lighten the design. The pendulum can be seen gently swinging just above the polished base.

Fine Ormolu Rococo Clock by Henry Lepaute (1800-1885)

A large and very fine quality ormolu Rococo clock by Henry Lepaute of Paris, part of the illustrious Lepaute clockmaking dynesty. Formed in finely gilded bronze, sinuous scrolls and curves form the case with delicately modeled floral and foliate decoration. Fabric backed sound frets are mounted between. Exceptionally well modelled and finished.

Antique French Louis XV Style Ormolu Rococo Clock Set

A very fine ormolu Rococo clock set by Charles Hour. It is beautifully modelled in the Rococo style of Louis XV in Ormolu (finely gilded bronze). Beautiful balloon shaped case with acanthus to the shoulders and a Rococo flourish to the top. Sound fretted are fitted to the front and sides. It stands on it's original integral base with boldly scrolling feet, a reflection of the pendulum swinging can be seen in the highly polished centre of the base.

A stunning antique French portico clock, beautifully modelled in a stunning variegated specimen marble with salmon pink and silver grey veining. It is mounted with finely finished ormolu (gilded bronze) that is in excellent condition. The clock is formed as a four pillar portico with the movement mounted in a drum with the ormolu sunburst pendulum swinging gently below. To the top is a marble urn.
