A magnificent pair of antique French candelabra in the manner of Juste Aurele Meissonier (Italian, 1695–1750). Beautifully formed as acanthus wrapped stems, with swirling acanthus arms and fluted tulip-form nozzles. The design is beautifully bold, well chased and finished
ormolu (finely gilded bronze).

in satinwood with marquetry inlay and fitted with bold Rococo bronze fittings.

A beautiful carved and painted late Victorian Rococo console table with a
Carrara marble top. It is beautifully carved in a hard wood, most likely
mahogany, with bold scrolls and acanthus, and an arched stretcher with a
flamboyant shell motif. It has a lovely aged painted finish in white and green
with a hint of gold.
A stunning vintage French Bombe chest of drawers of small proportions. Beautiful
Satin wood with marquetry inlay of rosewood and other exotic timbers. The top is
a most gorgeous fossil limestone.
Condition is very good with a few small nicks and nibbles of veneer
loss. The limestone is also in good condition, a good polish while not
being over shiny. We do not have the key for the drawers but they are
A large (38 1/2" tall) and very decorative sculpture
of a young bather by listed artist M. W. Blackden. She
is beautifully depicted in a shy, naturalistic pose in plaster composition with
a lovely original bronzed finish. Blackden is listed
as exhibited in 1890 in the artprice database, the artist's signature is incised
to the base. A beautiful piece to brighten any corner!
