A beautiful antique French specimen marble library four glass or crystal regulator clock by the renown maker Japy Freres. It is classical in style with two reeded acanthus torché columns and a well modelled bronze lion standing proudly to the top. Four glazed panels allow the faux mercury compensated pendulum to be seen gently swinging within.

A beautiful original antique French clock set. It features charming figures of cherubs, finely modelled in gilt bronze. Two carrying the clock aloft with the pendulum swinging gently below while two cherubs follow beside, each with two candle sconces modelled as laurel branches.

A lovely decorative Gothic clock by the famous bronze foundry Compagnie Des Bronzes of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Brussels and the movement by A D Mougin. The front is formed of a panel of pierced tracery with lions masks and Fleur-de-lis that allows the pendulum to be seen swinging within. The top is formed with flying buttresses holding the final aloft.

A superb original antique French Rococo clock. It is heavily and boldly modelled in ormolu (finely gilded bronze) with deeply scrolling acanthus and surmounted by a bouquet of flowers. Beautifully finished with contrasting polished and matted surfaces. The integral base is polished to allow a reflection of the pendulum gently swinging to be seen.

A beautiful and early antique French clock by the famous maker Japy Freres. It is modelled in ormolu (finely gilded bronze), mounted with beautiful porcelain with a blue ground decorated with flaming torche, quiver of arrows and a pair doves. To the top is an ormolu torche and quiver of arrows.

A beautiful original antique French Baroque style clock by the famous maker Japy Frères. It is very well made in gilt bronze. The front is formed of a goddess mask surrounded by twirling foliage and floral swags allowing a glimpse of the pendulum swinging within.

A fine and early clock by Lépine Paris. It is beautifully made in ormolu (finely gilded bronze doré) and mounted with exquisite Sèvres style porcelain with a blue ground. The panel below the dial features an exquisite scene of two winged putti in the manner of François Boucher. Panels to the base and sides are finely painted with floral swags within gilt framed cartouches.

A beautiful original antique French clock. It is in the Louis XVI style, elegantly decorated with acanthus and a large urn to the top. To the front is a panel with blind fret work of acanthus. The rear door is glazed to allow the movement to be seen for example in front of a mirror.

A large and early original antique French figural clock featuring a dog in his kennel with his master alongside. It is beautifully modelled and finished in gilt bronze. To the left of the kennel is the dogs bowl. The base is modelled with elaborate scrolls and leaves and the pendulum can be glimpsed swinging through the front. The case is marked with the movement serial number to the reverse.

A Large and impressive original antique French gilt bronze clock by Louis Japy. It is Baroque in style, mythical creatures support the clock on a stylised sea of scrolls. Elaborate twirling foliage forms a fretted front to allow a glimpse of the pendulum swinging gently within. A goddess mask to the front and sides and a large elaborate urn is mounted to the top. This is a beautifully modelled, heavy and finely detailed clock.
