A stunning original antique French clock by the renown maker Achille Brocot. It features exquisite Sèvres Style porcelain with pompadour rose pink ground. Beautifully modelled in the classical style of Louis XVI with scrolling brackets, acanthus wreath and draped floral swags. The dial and lower panel are delicately painted with cherubs.

A huge and superb bronzed metal clock by the celebrated sculptor Albert Ernst Carrier-Belleuse. Two beautifully depicted cherubs hold the clock aloft, mounted in a bronze globe, above their heads on finger tips. Superbly modelled in bronze patinated metal.

A beautiful original antique French portico clock by Vincenti. It is made of white marble mounted with ormolu (finely gilded bronze). The movement is held aloft on two marble pillars with the ormolu sunburst pendulum swinging gently below. A matching pair of candle sticks complete the set.

A large and impressive original antique French clock by Louis Japy. It is beautifully made in gilded bronze in the Louis XV style. Waisted case with a fretted front to allow a glimpse of the pendulum gently swinging inside. Profusely decorated with acanthus, C scrolls and floral swags. To the top is a flaming lamp.

A stunning antique French ormolu Rococo clock. It is beautifully modelled in the Rococo style of Louis XV in Ormolu (gilded bronze). Beautiful balloon shaped case with acanthus to the shoulders and a Rococo flourish to the top. Sound frets are fitted to the front and sides. It stands on it's original integral base with boldly scrolling feet. A reflection of the pendulum swinging can be just seen in the highly polished centre of the base.

An early and stunning clock set featuring a charming figure of Cupid, L’Amour Menaçant (Menacing Love) after the famous sculpture by Falconet currently in the Louvre. It is beautifully carved from crisp white alabaster, cupid leans on the clock, asking for silence as he pulls out an arrow. The pair of classical urns are finely carved to be semi transparent, decorated with beautiful acanthus leaves.
