in four sides. The case is constructed of a beautifully variegated onyx, mounted with ormolu and is classical in design. The
ovoid urns also beautifully simple in design.
A stunning antique French portico clock featuring Amor and Venus. Amor presents
Venus with roses but she turns away with a deaf ear. It is beautifully made in a
white, blue and pink variegated specimen marble mounted with gilt metal. The
figures are finely modelled in bronze patinated metal. The sunburst pendulum swings
gently between the four columns of the portico.

bronze). It is a beautiful Rococo balloon shape with boldly flamboyant acanthus legs hold
the movement aloft. The original ormolu pendulum swings gently
below. Above the dial is an elaborate 'C' scroll and stylised floral finial.
