A very large and impressive original antique French gilt brass clock set by the famous maker Japy Freres. It is in the Baroque style and features the winged goddess Nike to the front. Above her is a large dial with individual enamel cartouche letters, blued steel hands and convex glass.

A beautifully restrained and chic Empire style portico clock set by the famous maker Japy Freres. It is modelled in crisp white marble with fine ormolu (finely gilded brass or bronze) mounts. The clock is held aloft in a drum on two white marble pillars with the ormolu sun burst pendulum swinging visibly below

Japy Freres Huge and Stunning Gilt Brass Cartel Wall Clock ~ Hunting

A magnificent and rare gilded brass cartel clock, very finely detailed and in excellent condition. It is in the style of Black Forest carved wood examples, but is beautifully modelled in gilded brass. The original gilding remains which is in lovely bright and clean condition. It features a hunting dog to one side of the dial, a fox to the other, a wild boar below, and above the dial is a hunting trophy deer head with antlers.

A stunning antique French cartel wall clock, resplendent in its original gilding which is bright and clean. It features a lions mask above the dial and an urn with flaming finial. To the side of the dial are goddess and entwined foliage.
