A substantial and glorious, original early antique French clock of the most stunning quality and condition. Standing at almost 2 feet in height, it is most exquisitely modelled in ormolu (fire gilded bronze or doré bronze), in excellent clean and bright original condition. It dates from around 1830 and features and artist, resting on an ancient architectural ruin, drawing in a sketch book. To his side is his folio, Mahl Stick and brushes.

A rare and stunning original English antique bracket clock, dating from around 1820. It is of beautiful Regency design, lancet shaped case, superbly figured mahogany veneer inlaid with polish brass and ebony moulding. It is rare in having it's original mahogany wall bracket with dentil moulding and brass and ebony inlay.

Antique French Gilt Brass Drum Head Table Clock

An original antique French drum head table clock of excellent quality, made in gilded brass. The large dial is mounted in the drum of the case, on a fluted stand which itself is mounted on a cushion shaped base. The base is decorated with incised blind fret work and the feet are styled as mythical sea creatures and waves. The rear door is glazed to allow the movement to be seen.

Antique French Boulle Boudoir Clock

A beautiful original antique French boudoir clock of Boulle work in the Rococo style. The case is of waisted keyhole shape, veneered in red shell veneer, delicately inlaid with polished brass. It is mounted with fine ormolu, C scrolls, acanthus and a goddess mask. To the top is a Rococo urn. The front of the clock is glazed to allow the pendulum to be seen swinging within the case. The red shell veneer has mellowed to a lovely antique red-brown with plenty of character.
