Flying Scotsman
by Ken Allsebrook

~~ Excellent condition, ready to hang ~~

A striking original oil painting by Ken Allsebrook, capturing one of Britain’s most iconic locomotives — LNER Class A3 Pacific No. 4472 Flying Scotsman — in full steam, hauling a rake of teak passenger coaches through a classic station scene. The composition is filled with nostalgic charm: passengers on the platform pause to admire the powerful green engine as it passes beneath a traditional signal box, leaving trails of steam in its wake. The artist has rendered the locomotive with vivid attention to detail — from the gleaming green livery and distinctive driving wheels, to the unmistakable “Flying Scotsman” headboard. The warm tones of the wooden coaches, dynamic sky, and sense of motion make this a visually compelling tribute to the golden age of rail travel.

By the accomplished railway artist Ken Allsebrook, (there is one of his works on the BBC your paintings website) we have been fortunate to secure 3 paintings by the artist.
