Antique French Gilt Brass Clock by
A. D. Mougin

~ French - Circa 1880 ~

~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~

A beautiful original antique French clock well modelled in gilt brass. The movement is by the famous maker A. D. Mougin. It is of waisted keyhole shape, with fret work to the front and mythical creatures forming the bracket feet. A large urn finial with flowing foliage sits on top. The clock is only 5" in depth so would sit nicely on a mantle shelf. It has been restored to the highest standard in our own workshop.

About us - All of our clocks are original antiques, we source most of our clocks in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK. We prefer to buy our clocks in original 'dirty' condition. We then clean the cases using a technique we have developed over many years. We employ two qualified clockmakers who overhaul the movements. Movements are thoroughly tested until we are satisfied that they will run trouble free.
