A small and very pretty clock set of gilt brass in stunning condition. The clock is modelled as a romantic architectural ruin covered in tangled foliage. To the front of the clock is a pair of columns with a fretted panel to the centre which allows the pendulum to be seen. 

Dial is enamel on copper with a cast brass centre and is complete with the original blued steel hands. The back door is glazed to allow the movement to be seen.       

Antique French movement runs for 8 days and strikes half-hourly on a bell. It has been fully restored in our workshop and is on excellent clean and running condition. The pendulum is a new replacement. Click the movie below to see and hear the movement working!

Condition of the case is excellent with a bright and clean original gilding, there is some wear and discolouration in places. The dial is also in excellent condition with some small chips around the winding holes and a faint hairline. The candelabra arms are slightly distorted.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
