Large Antique French Candelabra Clock Set

A Large and impressive antique French clock set by A D Mougin. Beautifully made in brass, crisply modelled with sweeping foliage. The front of the clock is open fret work, as are the urns of the candelabra and the top of the clock. 

The clock is complete with a matching pair of 4 light candelabra complete with a pair of snuffers - the clock and candelabra stand at over 2 feet in height for a most impressive display! 

 The dial is enamel on copper and the bezel is cast with the egg and dart border. The delicately cut blued steel hands are original.

The French movement is by A. D Mougin and is of excellent quality. It runs for 8 days and strikes on a bell and is in excellent, clean and running condition - Click the movie below!

Condition of the case and candelabra is excellent, there are no losses and the finish of the brass is clean and bright. There are some areas of wear, tarnish and slight discolouration. The candelabra arms are slightly distorted.
