A good sized square table clock of very high quality. The finish of the brass is excellent - clean bright, with crisp detailing in the ornamentation. The clock is surmounted by a winged putti holding a pair of laurel wreaths - a sign of victory, given to the winners of competitions in classical times. The side of the case are open fret work of high quality as is the top. This is a clock of excellent quality in very good condition.

The enamel dial is unusual in being concave in shape with the centre enamelled in blue behind a fretted brass centre. The English retailer has signed the inside of the brass bezel.

French movement is by F Marti and is of excellent quality and runs for 8 days and strikes on a gong and is in excellent, clean and running condition - it is complete with the pendulum.

The finish of the brass is very good - bright and clean. There are some small areas of wear or discoloration. There is just a faint hairline on the enamel dial from the 9 to the 11 o'clock positions.

A quality clock in excellent condition!
