Beautiful Antique French Rococo Clock

An Antique French Rococo clock, stunning in its original gilding which is bright and clean. The case is boldly modelled in typical Rococo style, a waisted key hole shape decorated with fine 'c' scrolls, shells, acanthus leaves and and floral finial. To the front of the case beneath the dial is a blind fretted panel of flaming torch� and quiver of arrows. 

The dial is enamel on copper with a separate Arabic minute ring and is complete with original fretted brass hands.

Movement is by A. D. Mougin and is of the highest quality. It has been fully cleaned and serviced in our workshop including a new pendulum and is in excellent clean and running condition. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the movie below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent with clean and bright finish and there are no losses. There is some very minor wear to the original gilding. The dial has some slight chipping around the left hand winding hole. 

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
