Antique French Rococo Clock

A small and delicate French Rococo clock of typical Rococo design, with C scrolls, and swirling foliage. The modelling of the case is beautiful and is of the highest quality with sharp detail, the finish is clean and bright.

The enamel dial and delicately fretted gilt brass hands are original and the bezel is fitted with convex glass.

The French movement is of excellent quality and is by Vincenti et Cie (makers mark on the movement backplate). It runs for 8 days, strikes on a bell and is in excellent, clean and running condition - it is complete with the original pendulum and bell.

Condition of the case is excellent - there are no losses and the finish of the brass is bright and clean. The enamel dial is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
