A very decorative Japy Freres clock set in excellent condition. The style is French Gothic with tumbling foliage, a gothic mask and hairy paw feet. The modelling is well executed and crisp.      

The Japy Freres movement is in excellent clean and running condition and is complete with the original pendulum. The dial is enamel on copper and is in very good condition - there are two faint hairlines near the 6 and 7 o'clock positions.

Condition of the case is very good with no losses or damage. The finish of the brass is clean and bright and looks wonderful as you can see in the pictures below. The is some minor chipping to the edge of the original glass which is hardly noticeable.
