Large Antique French Porcelain and gilt Clock Set

A Large and impressive antique French clock set, standing 24" tall. Beautifully made in gilt brass and porcelain. The porcelain is a deep, lustrous blue and the gilding is in excellent original condition. The clock and the vases have lions masks to each side and floral swags to the front. The clock is surmounted by winged mythical figure. The set makes a very impressive display!

The dial is enamel and the bezel is cast with the egg and dart border.

The French movement is of excellent quality and runs for 8 days and strikes on a bell and is in excellent, clean and running condition - it is complete with the original bell and pendulum.

Condition of the clock and vases is excellent, there are no losses and the gilt finish of the brass is bright. There are a couple of very minor original faults in the blue glaze. The enamel dial has no chips or cracks.
