A French Rococo clock. The clock is of typical Rococo design, with C scrolls, and swirling foliage. The modelling of the case is beautiful and is of the highest quality.

The beautiful original enamel dial and the delicately fretted gilt brass hands are in excellent condition. French S. Marti et Cie movement is of excellent quality, runs for 8 days, strikes on a bell and is in excellent, clean and running condition - it is complete with the original bell and a replacement pendulum.

Condition is excellent - the brass has a clean and bright finish and there are no losses to the case. The enamel dial has some light chipping around the left hand winding hole and a hair line though the 8 o'clock which is hardly visible.

Very decorative, good quality clock in excellent condition.
