A large and impressive clock and candelabra set, crisply and heavily modelled in brass. The finish of the brass is excellent - clean bright, with crisp detailing in the ornamentation. French gothic in style, the case is open fretwork, allowing the pendulum to be seen and is decorated with swags of foliage. The candelabra bases are also open fretwork and the arms are modelled as foliage. The finish of the brass is clean

The casting of the clock and candelabra are of the highest quality and the set looks great as you can see in the pictures. This is a large, heavy, high quality clock set.

The dial is enamel on copper with original blued steel hands. The high quality French movement runs for 8 days and strikes on a bell. It is in excellent, clean and running condition and is visible from the rear of the clock through the glazed back door. Clock is complete with pendulum, bell and key.

The finish of the brass is very good - bright and clean. There are some small areas of wear or discoloration. Condition of the enamel dial is very good - just a few a light hairline through the 12 o'clock. The original glass has some minor surface scratches. Condition of the case is very good, no losses or damage. The candelabra arms are slightly distorted.
