Superb Antique French Clock Set - Rococo

A lovely small Rococo clock set in excellent original condition. The gilding is in particularly good condition - bright and clean. The candelabra have four arms and are complete with the original snuffers.

The clock came with an old winding key and also attached with an old split ring, an old Brocot key which are probably all original.

The dial is enamel on copper and is complete with the original fretted brass hands.

The French movement is of excellent quality and runs for 8 days, striking on a bell. Our clock maker has cleaned and serviced the movement which is in excellent working order. The pendulum is an old replacement. Click the movie below to see and hear the movement working!

Condition of the case is excellent with a bright and clean finish and no losses. There are some very slight surface marks, tarnish / discolouration in places. Dial is also in excellent condition, no chips or hairlines. The candelabra arms are very slightly distorted.

Complete with pendulum, bell and keys. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
