Miniature Antique French Boudoir Clock

A beautifully delicate miniature boudoir clock, an original antique French timepiece in the Rococo style. The case is burr walnut mounted with exquisitely finished ormolu mounts. Acanthus swags to the shoulders and feet and a gadrooned border to the stop with a pretty loop handle. The bezel is set with jewels that glint as they catch the light and the lovely little dial is enamel on copper and complete with original fine gilt brass hands. Height 7 1/2" or 19 cm.

Exceptional Antique French Ormolu and Red Marble Clock Set - Cherubs

A truly exceptional original antique French clock set. It is made of exquisitely cast ormolu (Finely gilded bronze) mounted on a fine red specimen marble. The clock is held aloft in a bronze sphere by twirling acanthus scrolls. To the top a pair of cherubs, full of charm and mischief climb on top. The candelabra feature cherubs holding the three lights formed as acanthus.

A large and superb original antique French clock set, beautifully modelled in gilt bronze in the style of Louis XVI. It is profusely decorated with acanthus, scrolls to the sides, an urn of flowers to the top and a fretted front panel of acanthus, allowing the pendulum to be seen gently swinging within. Height 23" or 58.5 cm.
